Algonaut was started in 2017 by myself (Matt Weir) and is based in Auckland, New Zealand. After years of working in the music production, games, and interactive audio/visual exhibit industries, it was finally time to fulfil the long-standing dream of founding a music software company. Since launch, Algonaut software has been used by leading musicians around the world including some real heroes of mine.
