What personal information do we gather?
The information we learn from customers helps us personalise and continually improve your shopping experience on our website. We use the information to deliver services including software updates and bug fixes, communicate with you about our promotional offers, update our records and maintain your accounts with us, display content such as purchased license keys, respond to your requests, and recommend services that might be of interest to you. We also use this information to improve our website, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our website, and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical, or other functions on our behalf, as described below.
We gather the following types of information:
- Information you give us: we receive and store the information you enter on our website or give us in any other way. The information we collect is displayed under Account information. You can choose not to provide certain information, with the understanding that you may then not be able to take advantage of many of our features.

This information is collected by the third parties that service our webshops. The webshop for our software products is serviced by Woocommerce. They collect information from you to handle your orders, deliver services to you, process payments, communicate with you about orders, respond to your requests, customise your future shopping experiences, improve the store, and communicate with you. - Account information: after you have made a purchase via our webshop, or have entered an activation code at our web site, Algonaut will automatically create a personal account for you. This personal account contains the following information: first name, last name, address, zip, phone, e-mail address, and a purchase overview.
How secure is information about me?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. When using a shared computer, make sure to sign off when finished and to avoid using the Remember Me login feature.
What information can I access?
We give you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with us for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information. What choices do I have?
As discussed above, you always have the choice not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of our features and your Algonaut account.
- You can add or update certain information on your Algonaut account. When you update information, we typically keep a copy of the previous version for our records.
- If you do not wish to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust this preference in your Algonaut account or click the unsubscribe link that is included at the bottom of every promotional e-mail sent from us.
- You cannot delete your personal Algonaut account yourself, however, we can delete it for you on request. Your personal information will then no longer be accessible and will be stored (in a private location) for a period no longer than necessary.
Are children allowed to use the Algonaut website?
Algonaut does not sell services for purchase by children. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Algonaut website only with the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Cookies are small text files that we transfer, with your consent, to your device to enable our systems to uniquely identify your device. We use functional cookies, analytic cookies, and third-party cookies (Google Analytics).
The Algonaut website uses the following types of cookies:

We stand behind the promises we make, and we will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers.
